Anchor plate is an important component in post-tensioning systems. The anchor plate is utilized to secure and distribute the forces from the tensioned PT cables into the concrete structure. It helps to anchor the cables firmly in place and transfer the applied loads effectively.
When tension is applied to the PT cables, they get secured and anchored within the anchor plate. They are securely attached to the concrete structure with bolts or other fastening methods that match the manufacturer's standards and engineering specifications.
ASTM A536 Grade 80-55-06 or IS 1865 Grade SG 500/7 or 550/6 Casting shall be non-porous and free of sand, blow holes, voids and other defects.
